1) Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

2) Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

3) Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

4) Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.

5) Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.

6) Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

7) Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

8) Run cost analyses of the various types of work as a forerunner to tender preparation.

9) Prepare the tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, with the superior and the client.

10) Be knowledgeable of construction techniques on projects.

11) Have sound working knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of Conditions of Contract

12) Preparation of Cash flow forecasts

13) Assist in the preparation of advice on contract procurement

14) Traveling from the office to various sites as required

15) Reporting to the senior contract officer.

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management or similar
  • Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantages
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Sound Knowledge of construction
  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize, plan and strategize
