Our client is a Multinational FMCG organization, known for their commitment to quality, innovation and sustainable practices. This dynamic organization is expanding its team and currently seeking a competent Head of Supply Chain to join their team.
Job Description
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on cost efficiency, lead time reduction, and service level improvement.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of supply chain systems and processes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Lead production planning, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, raw material availability, and production capacity.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize production schedules, minimize downtime, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Balance inventory levels to avoid excess stock or shortages while ensuring product freshness and compliance with food safety standards.
- Oversee materials planning to ensure the timely availability of raw materials, packaging and ingredients based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Implement a MRP system to streamline the planning process and ensure no disruption in product.
- Lead and develop the supply chain team and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain, including supply disruptions, quality issues and regulatory changes.
- Drive cost saving activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 18 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience within the manufacturing environment, ideally in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment
- Results-driven with a focus on optimizing supply chain performance
- Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams
