  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Description

  • To attend to litigation matters (including mediation, case management, hearing and trial, whether via e-review, Zoom/Skype or physically within or outside of Klang Valley);
  • To liaise with and attend to clients;
  • To draft and prepare correspondence, legal opinions, pleadings, cause papers, affidavits, submissions and such other documents required by the Court or necessary for the preparation of the case;
  • To conduct legal research on all legal and related matters; and
  • To handle all necessary administrative tasks for every file assigned by the Firm from time to time

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years PQE
  • LLB 2:1 or LLB 2:2 with a demonstration of a strong work ethic
  • Experience in handling debt recovery portfolios is an added advantage
  • Willing to learn
  • Passionate about litigation
  • Able to work under pressure independently, efficiently, and with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual especially with regard to deadlines, whether imposed by the Court or by the Firm from time to time
  • Pleasant personality and able to work well in a team
  • Good communication and writing/drafting skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Fluency in Mandarin and other dialects would be an advantage
  • Able to start on the 1st of October 2024
