- Responsible for day- to- day smooth running of LCL operational activities
- Manage shipments tendered to the company in a timely manner to achieve profitability.
- Establish and manage relationship and rapport with all carriers, forwarders, transporters, warehouse operators etc.
- Ensure activities carried out are adhering to corporate compliance, global/local policies and guidelines;
- Manage and maintain the requirements for export documentation in compliance with CBP and other government agencies
- Actively engage in shipments problem solving
- Responsible for selection and training of team members.
- Lead, motivate and manage the performance of the teams to ensure optimum team and individual performance
- Diploma or Bachelor’ degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the Ocean freight forwarding industries.
- Knowledge of local and international governmental, customs formality, road security and compliance, carrier arrangement, and DG regulations
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and with minimum supervision.
- Working hours: 8.30AM – 6.00PM (Mon – Fri)
