Day-to-day activities:

Support the Marketing manager on marketing campaign execution. Includes but not limited to:

  • Competitor research, tracking and analysis for the Jaya Grocer businesses
  • Oversee logistical arrangements for campaign materials
  • Provide on-ground activation support
  • Assist in marketing communications and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
  • Update campaign details
  • Prepare simple creative briefs
  • Preparing consumer analysis and trends
  • Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing events

Candidate Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field.
  • Basic Microsoft Office suite knowledge (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English (proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese language would be an advantage)
  • Digitally savvy with good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques, plus understand and utilizes social media
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities
  • A highly motivated self-starter who’s eager to learn
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
