Our client is one of the biggest heavy manufacturing organization in the region. With an annual turnover of over a billion dollar, they've been one of the industry leaders for decades.
As their business is expanding aggressively, they are looking for an Operations Director to join their management team to help drive their business. This role to be based in Sarawak.
Job Description
- Responsible for plant operations with a specific focus on production output, supply chain, quality, capacity target, engineering an planning
- Monitor the results of various departments under your care through systematic data collection
- Analyse and execute action plan for continuous improvements
- Plan and drive CAPEX to align with corporate and business direction
- Govern proper documentations in compliant to quality, HSSE and ISO standards
- Ensure implementation of group's mission, vision and core values
As this role is essential to the organization and will be leading a team close to 2000 employees, it is vital you come with a track record of delivery and proven experience.You must possess the following;
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 20 years of experience within the manufacturing industry
- Prior experience in heavy manufacturing or high volume, low mix manufacturing process
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Champion in driving Health, Safety and Environment
- Only open to Malaysian candidates
