The expansion for HQ team is also undergoing, hence, we are looking for a vibrant, dynamic, experienced & meticulous individual who is is the right fit as our Assistant Human Resource Manager.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Assistant Human Resource Manager in Petaling Jaya. The Assistant Human Resource Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, including performance management, leave management, compensations, benefits, foreign workers, policies & company SOPs, They will also contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and provide guidance and support to managers and employees.

Responsibilities included but not limited to;

  • Prepare, review, and take action on various employment letters such as LOA, appraisal forms, confirmations, promotions, transfers, memos, show cause notices, etc.
  • Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a healthy workplace culture.
  • Enhance and implement performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance and provide feedback.
  • Manage the compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and fair remuneration for employees.
  • Always keep up to date and ensuring that the organization complies with labor laws and regulations.
  • Enhance, Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Align HR strategies with organizational goals to support business growth and development.
  • To oversee the submission of official letters to government bodies & foreign worker permit renewal process
  • Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation and days off.
  • Follow-up on probation review and preparation of confirmation letter.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Provide support and guidance to HR staff and ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

Candidate must:

  • Possess Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource or related courses
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in Human Resource best practices
  • Have own transport & able to travel
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent in planning and organizational skills – lead and manage a team.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, HRIS systems) and familiarity with administrative tools.
  • Proven experience in compensation and benefits management, including developing and implementing programs.
  • Strong understanding of labor legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Planning and organizational skills- lead and manage a team.
  • Strong understanding of staff development, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
