Our client: A food manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing new products and enhancing existing ones by researching, identifying, and applying the best technology to achieve desired results within the specified time frame, ensuring competitive advantages in the market.
- To improve and revise existing product formulations and process if necessary to optimize productivity and cost.
- To carry out R&D process flow such as formulation, shelf life test and sensory evaluation.
- To establish / maintain and update related documentation including analysis method, test reports and specification.
- To conduct and monitor the preparation of prototype/ sample and to determine the process specifications predetermined in the lab.
- To gather food regulatory information and stay updated on innovative ingredients and processes to develop a robust system.
- Exposure to international food safety standards, export markets & requirements.
- To work with sales & marketing and production team to determine and establish new projects, products, process and plan.
- To develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety programs that comply with GMP, HACCP, and other relevant regulations. Ensure all R&D activities and manufacturing processes adhere to the highest standards of food safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Preferably candidate with 3 to 5 years’ experience in the Food Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of food science, product formulation, and industry regulations.
