Job Description

As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in RBC's business as the primary relationship manager for all talent acquisition activity in Malaysia. You will liaise with the Human Resource Business Partners and the business leaders to ensure best in class talent acquisition strategies are in place for each business. You will source, screen and assess talent in order to provide counsel and recommendations to hiring managers on best fit. You will also be accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the recruitment team by building their capability, and supporting and implementing new tools, programs and processes to ensure RBC's external competitiveness.

More specifically, the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Malaysia will:

  • Manage and lead the talent acquisition team across Malaysia to ensure appropriate recruitment is provided to each business segment. Encourages quick thinking, aggressive sourcing skills and a proactive approach towards talent acquisition.
  • Ensure appropriate sourcing techniques including complex search techniques, recruitment strategies, and consulting capability are developed and implemented to enable effective candidate attraction, identification and selection.
  • Consult with business leaders to identify recruitment needs and create targeted and proactive recruitment strategies including segmented approaches where appropriate.
  • Represent talent acquisition at the leadership level, as an expert and support to the business.
  • Maintain recruitment metrics that align with organizational objectives, managing team and department performance against established key metrics. Ensure accurate and timely reports and communications to management, hiring managers, and Human Resource Partners.
  • Support the staffing needs by partnering with HR and the business leaders to drive talent acquisition plans across multiple talent pools.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partners to obtain workforce planning and talent management requirements and ensure the right resources and solutions are in place to meet these needs. Share accountability of workforce diversity goals with the business
  • Coach and counsel talent acquisition team on sourcing techniques including complex search techniques, recruitment strategies, and consulting capability.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in talent acquisition including leveraging technology, social media, and industry networks.
