Job Description:

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a Lead role within the insurance domain.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of insurance industry processes, products, and regulations.

• Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with experience in both manual and automated testing.

• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Quality Center) and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).

• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Management:

o Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers, providing guidance and support in testing processes.

o Define and implement QA best practices, standards, and methodologies.

o Allocate resources effectively, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of testing activities.

2. Insurance Domain Expertise:

o Apply deep knowledge of insurance products, processes, and regulations to guide QA efforts, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, billing, Operations, Finance , Distribution, Products and reporting

o Ensure that testing covers all critical aspects of insurance applications and adheres to industry standards and compliance requirements.

3. Test Strategy and Planning:

o Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on business requirements, functional specifications, and industry best practices.

o Design and oversee the creation of test cases, test scripts, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of insurance-related scenarios.

4. Test Execution and Reporting:

o Manage and coordinate manual and automated testing efforts, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

o Monitor test execution, track defects, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

o Prepare and present detailed test reports, metrics, and status updates to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements.

5. Collaboration and Communication:

o Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and development teams to understand requirements and ensure effective test coverage.

o Facilitate communication between the QA team and other departments to address and resolve issues and ensure alignment with project goals.

o Participate in project meetings and reviews to provide insights on testability and quality aspects.

6. Continuous Improvement:

o Drive initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team
