The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.

What you'll do:

  • To be fully conversant and proficient in the entire company's software technology offering, from desktop, Server to mobile capabilities.
  • To provide technical execution and delivery of the company's capabilities to our end users and other prospective customers.
  • To understand and build integration capabilities between ESRI technology and customer nonGIS information systems.
  • Work with customers to understand their business activities, workflows, needs and determine how GIS technology can help meet those needs and formulate and implement effective GISbased solutions.
  • To provide consultancy, from strategic analysis and advice, through technical options, platform selection and solution implementation, to performance analysis and problem solving.
  • To be able to advise on database design and data modeling best practices for both object and relational spatial databases, including Oracle, MS SQL and UML, the company's Geodatabase, and ArcGIS Server object database.

We believe that to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Between 5 to 10 years of related working experience; with at least 4 years in Enterprise GIS system development project implementation experience.
  • Candidate possess Degree in GIS/Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering.

Strong knowledge in 4 or more of the following:

  • ArcGIS Server / ArcGIS Enterprise or Web GIS
  • SQL /Oracle / PostgreSQL Database management
  • General IT/Network knowledge
  • HCI/Virtualization knowledge
  • Common Windows Server / Linux OS management knowledge
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in system capacity sizing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in system load & performance testing is an added advantage.
  • Certified professional is an advantage.
  • Possesses excellent written and oral English skill.
