Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for spearheading and overseeing the procurement of supplies for the company.
- Responsible for inventory management, analysing demand patterns and forecasting future requirements to prevent shortages and surpluses situations.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and establish mutually beneficial relationships to ensure a reliable supply of goods and services.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that optimize costs, maintain quality standards and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company’s daily operations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration is preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Management, or Category Management within the Semiconductor or Electronics industry.
- Proficiency in sourcing related skills including sourcing strategy development and execution, contract management, supplier performance management, and demonstrated experience in change management process and project management with measurable, positive business outcome.
- Proficiency with Planning/ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking with a high level of enthusiasm.
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes, industry and suppliers with strong supplier sourcing and knowledge.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently to resolve critical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively and professionally at all organizational levels.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with tight schedules.
- Proficient in data management, and reporting tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Tableau, SharePoint, and BI Power Solutions.
