Job Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our team, focusing on the promotion of a brand-new B2B trade show in the attractions sector. The event, set to launch in Kuala Lumpur in April 2025, aims to attract buyers from across Southeast Asia. You will collaborate closely with our team based in Singapore, executing a robust marketing plan and driving effective promotion strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Strategic Marketing Execution:

  • Implement and adapt a comprehensive marketing plan to increase event visibility and attendee engagement across Southeast Asia.
  • Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to create and manage targeted promotional campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact.

2) Content Creation & Digital Presence:

  • Develop engaging content for the event website, social media, e-newsletters, videos, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee the development of the event website, ensuring it aligns with branding and marketing goals.
  • Continuously update digital content to keep the audience informed and engaged.

3) Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Forge and maintain partnerships with media, associations, and influencers for event promotion.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders in Southeast Asia to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
  • Handle communications and negotiations with partners and sponsors.

4) Performance Analysis:

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics and performance metrics.

5) Public Relations:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies that complement marketing efforts.
  • Craft and distribute press releases and manage media relations to ensure extensive coverage.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the event, exhibition, attractions, or tourism industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proficient in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (both verbal and written).
