  • Develop the go-to-market strategy for Pneumatic Control technology products for sales force, distributors across Southeast Asia & Pacific.
  • Lead the local execution of the go-to-market activities for Pneumatic Control technology products for sales team, distributors in Pacific region.
  • Identify growth opportunities in current business model to increase revenue and sales volume of pneumatic industrial automation products.
  • Localise marketing materials to enhance product line and brand image with support from Marcom.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for Pneumatic Control products market sales in Southeast Asia & Pacific

  • Initiate and develop product marketing strategies and roadmaps for local market as support
  • Identifying new business opportunities and deliver value proposition suitable for each targeted industry segments.
  • Collaborate and communicate with regional sales offices for effective marketing implementation.
  • Communicate with global product management/strategic marketing for effective marketing and sales planning of Southeast Asia & Pacific region.
  • Work closely with sales team and pricing on product pricing position.
  • Manage product stock planning within the region with supply chain materials management to ensure smooth product delivery to customer.

Ensure focus by the relevant sales team for Pneumatic Control products sales

  1. Work closely with sales teams to define the key sub-segmentations and key applications
  2. Monitor products performance and propose appropriate remedial actions is undertaken to ensure each product performance in line with business objectives.

Drive new product launch for Pneumatic Control products sales

  • Develop launch package in coordination with Marketing Communication team for effective digital or mass marketing of products as well as complete solutions within Southeast Asia & Pacific.
  • Lead execution of marketing-related topic activity for Pneumatic Control product sales, such as product launch campaign projects, trade shows, exhibition, etc.
  • Plan and execute online or face-to-face training of new products to the internal customer.
  • Monitor performance of the campaign and propose appropriate actions for necessary countermeasures.
  • Responsible for evaluating all product positioning of Pneumatic Control products in the market
  • Work closely with the market intelligence and pricing team to analyse competitive product pricing, collect competitor new product information.
  • Harness analytical skills in acquiring knowledge on relevant industry development (including product & technical requirement, standards, trends, customer issues and product applications).
  • Conduct SWOT analysis of product competitors from the market and recommend strategies to win market share from the competition.
  • Review existing marketing programs with relevant sales teams for on gaps to improve product market position.

Provide feedback for new product requirements within the Pneumatic Industrial Automation field

  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going joint sales visits to both existing and new customers.
  • Analysis of customer value and customer needs as a basis for new products and product improvements
  • Participate in Regional Product Prioritization meetings to promote ideas, whenever required.

Ad-hoc activities required

  • Take a lead for any topics relevant to Pneumatic Control products field on Southeast Asia & Pacific cluster level.
  • Work closely with the global product management team or regional technical support team to implement specific application solutions and product training programs etc.
  • Support sales team for key customer visits and leading activities like automation dialogue seminars and webinars for appointed customers.
  • Prepare promotional marketing materials such as catalogues, brochures, and demo cases etc.

To perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned from Line Manager from time to time

Skills

  • Excellent Spoken and written English communication skills.
  • MS Office Suite, SAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of staff, good team player. Outstanding presentation and communication skills (comfortable in presenting to all organisational levels of audiences.)

Experience

  • Minimum experience 2-3 years of experience in product support/application engineering/sales related functions
  • Education background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business management or equivalent practical experience.
