Position Overview:

As a Junior Business Analyst at tigerlab, you will assist tigerlab to drive the digital transformation process for insurance companies worldwide. Supported by the Delivery Managers, you will work closely with our senior business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to help translate strategic business needs into technical deliverables. This role is ideal for someone looking to start their career in business analysis within the fast-growing insurtech industry and is interested in agile management methods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering:

• Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements through meetings, workshops, and interviews.
• Help translate business needs into technical specifications under the guidance of senior analysts.
• Contribute to the creation of detailed business requirement documents (BRDs).

2.Process Analysis:

• Support the analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in creating process maps, flowcharts, and other documentation to illustrate current and proposed processes.

3.Solution Design and Implementation:

• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements.
• Assist in the configuration and testing of insurtech software and systems.
• Participate in the implementation of new features and systems, ensuring they align with business goals.

4.Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Help develop test cases and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs right up to delivering into production environment,
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking issues and defects.
• Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
• Writing test cases and testing stories, bugs and tasks. Testing is key.

4.Client Support and Training:

• Assist in developing documentation materials and conducting client introduction sessions for end-users.
• Provide first-level support to users, helping resolve basic issues and escalating more complex problems.

5.Documentation and Communication:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business processes and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the insurance or insurtech industry.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence,Trello, Figma, MS Excel, google suite products).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, including policy administration, claims processing, underwriting, and regulatory requirements.
