TASK LIST FOR THE ROLE OF Linux Engineer

· Participate in a cross-functional team to complete all the tasks required to deliver the relevant products, services, processes and systems

· Product portfolio management and control, implementation and further development of one or more products, services, processes and/or systems throughout the entire lifecycle in a team, taking into account quality standards.

· Development and implementation of digital strategies, ensuring the core infrastructure of products, services, processes and systems, consistent introduction of innovative technologies, and development and expansion of the use of digital channels

· Continuous optimization of uniform, efficient, process-organizational concepts

· Development, further development and transfer of technical and process-related as well as IT-technical knowledge on the subject under responsibility

· Application and further development of the necessary competencies for the construction of new future-oriented digital architecture

· Design and implementation of agile quality assurance and risk management

· Conduct analyzes and create concepts based on market, trend and competitive observations

· Pricing and benchmarking

· Customer and interface management, including requirements analysis, consulting and support for the central functions and clusters with regard to the topics responsible

· Ensuring internal and external requirements, in particular with regard to regulatory, reporting, compliance and audit, within the scope of the issues under responsibility and using best practices

· Operation, maintenance and maintenance of the infrastructure as well as providing powerful support for relevant systems, data maintenance, reporting and authorization management

· Adherence to security standards and ensure stable operation with respect to products, services processes and systems

· Implement changes and releases in the responsible area

Requirement

· Good Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Knowledge. RHCA Knowledge Level expected.

· General Cloud Technology Knowledge, (RHEL on Azure, GCP and Google BMS).

· Virtualization - VMware Knowledge

· Familiarity with Python, Git, CI/CD (like TeamCity, Jenkins...), Programming Vendor APIs such as Red Hat Satellite API, Azure, GCP or VMware APIs, MS Defender for Endpoint Linux

· Good knowledge of either Red Hat Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform, SALT, Puppet

· Deploy all RHEL application servers based on the defined processes

· Handle and eliminate the deficiencies identified from the health checks performed

· Middleware components (Tivoli, Backup, Nessus…)

· Security topics (SIEM, Security Patching, PAM)

· Handle MS Defender predefined tasks (Configuration changes, Scan defect resolution, Network failures, ---)

· Basic Openshift Administration

· OS Basis Monitoring

· Programming of scripts and batch runs for the automation of the system sequence

· Experience accompanying server migration projects
