Operations Coordinator
Our Copper Marketing Department is looking for a Operations Coordinator. You will work as an independent contractor to manage and oversee Glencore’s service/project at the Customer’s facility. He/she will be ensuring efficient &safe operation and addressing all issues to deliver high quality customer service.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:
· Maintain specification that meets customer’s facility requirements/standard.
· Oversee to ensure subcontractor strictly implements the written procedures.
· Supervise to ensure EHS policies and relevant laws/ regulations are strictly followed (PPE, occupational health and etc.).
· Manage logistics activities to ensure smooth transportation of material.
· Track and manage all operation related costs: manpower, consumables and etc.
· Prepare and participate in customer audits to deliver satisfying results.
· Manage good relationship with customer and resolve any arising issues.
· Have efficient communication with all stakeholders (customer and Glencore internal).
Qualifications and requirements:
· Degree level qualification (or equivalent).
· Experience in facility preferred
· Mature, with an attention to details and highly resourceful
· Professional with good communication and interpersonal skills
· Good team player with ability to multitask
· Proactive and well-organized, ability to work under pressure
· Competent user of Microsoft Office
