Job Scope:

The Intern / Associate will be required to work closely and support the investment team and will be exposed to a holistic investment process. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on real investment opportunities and contribute to the growth of our portfolio companies. An opportunity to be an integral part of the team and will have the chance to learn from the senior figurehead / professionals in the field.

Job Description:

As an Intern Associate , you are expected to participate and assist with a wide range of tasks that will help you develop a deep understanding of the industry. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Proposal Preparation: Ranging from teasers, investment proposals, indication of appetite (investment memos), investment papers, research papers and other literature as required by the Senior Management or for the purpose of the Investment Committee.
  2. Deal Execution: Assist in identifying potential investment opportunities by conducting market research, industry / peer analysis, screening potential target companies and generating investment ideas for a prospect
  3. Due Diligence: Participate in the due diligence process, including financial analysis, market research, commercial and possibly taxation and legal diligence works.
  4. Financial Modelling: Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and track portfolio performance.
  5. Portfolio Company Operational Support: Work with portfolio companies to provide support and assist in monitoring their financial and operational performance.
  6. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities to help identify potential investments and growth strategies.
  7. Administrative Tasks: Support the investment team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and assisting in document preparation.
  8. Presentation Skills: Learn and develop presentation and communication skills by preparing and delivering reports and updates to the team and senior management.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
  • Interest in the finance and private equity industry.
