Job Purpose.

The position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of media strategy, planning, buying, and optimization of digital and non-digital ads across various platforms. This role plays a pivotal part in driving our brand visibility and engagement through strategic media initiatives. The ideal person has experience in media agency or client-side roles (ideally both), possesses a comprehensive understanding of all forms of media, and is knowledgeable in digital marketing with hands-on experience in paid search, display, social, and programmatic ads.

This role fosters closer communication between corporate HQ, SBUs, and the public, ensuring corporate goals and strategies are executed and communicated through various internal and external initiatives and activities.

Key Accountabilities.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies to achieve marketing goals and objectives, such as enhancing brand visibility, promoting products and services, driving traffic, and maximizing ROI.
  • Manage and optimize key metrics and budgets for paid media campaigns.
  • Track and analyze campaigns using analytics tools to provide reports and actionable insights to stakeholders. Assess the effectiveness of marketing materials and media buys through key metrics and results.
  • Manage relationships with media vendors, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality of assets and campaigns.
  • Understand the company’s content management system. Knowledge of HTML or CSS is an advantage.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer insights to inform media strategies and tactics.
  • Drive innovation and experimentation within the media function by exploring new channels and tactics to stay ahead of the industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with business objectives. Support all marketing activities for corporate and business units, including rail and bus projects/initiatives.
  • Support ad hoc requests from superiors or as assigned by management.

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge.

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media planning, buying, optimization, and tagging of digital ads, with a proven track record of success.
