Job Responsibilities:

a) Review and update the Employment Handbook, GHR policies and procedures relating to employee relations/ industrial relations.

b) Develop, maintain and update a framework for Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) and update business division accordingly.

c) Establish and maintain relationships between all stakeholders both internally (Unions) and externally (government bodies, other industry bodies and external parties).

d) Dispute Settlement (reviews investigation report from internal team and identifies the breach/violation of related policies or procedures and provides recommended disciplinary action based on IR guidelines and practices).

e) Conduct company retrenchment consultation and implementation in compliance with the law.

f) Provide advice and prepare the necessary documentations on industrial relations matters.

g) Responsible for Group's Occupational, Safety and Health Administration including the development and implementation of the Group’s Safety and Health policy.

Job Requirements:

a) Degree in Human Resource Management (preferably with Industrial Relations elective), Law or equivalent.

b) More than 5 years of working experience in Industrial Relations and Occupational, Safety and Health Administration.

c) Well versed with the Malaysian Labour Laws, Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.

d) Hands-on working experience especially in conducting investigations into misconducts/malpractices as well as conducting Domestic Inquiry.

e) Independent, result-oriented and demonstrates ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment.

f) Well equipped with time management skill, demonstrates the ability in setting priorities and meeting deadlines.

g) Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
