Role Purpose:

Lead and manage teams of test automation engineers through regular collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure automation are applied in areas to increase productivity, efficiency and decrease cost for the organisation by reducing and optimising manual workflow.

In This Role You Will:

• Lead by example for test automation execution and manage the test automation execution progress and coverage are according to the agreed test plan by collaborating with other team members and stakeholders, in order to ensure a high-quality product is release in a timely manner.
• Manage and follow-up software defect and test automation related issues by monitoring the defect tracking system to ensure the resolution are being prioritized and fixed in a timely manner without joepardizing product delivery.
• Develop an effective test automation strategies to ensure sufficient coverage and alignment with project requirements, enhancing product quality by assisting in creating robust testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement process by facilitating agile methodology related ceremonies in order to effectively delegate tasks, identify potential work blockers and gather constructive feedback about the team ways of working
• Lead and manage the quality engineering team by setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting professional development to ensure high-quality results and alignment with company objectives.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders by providing regular updates on quality engineering activities, progress, and issues in order to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
• Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
  
  

You're A Great Fit If You Have:

• 8+ years in designing and developing software test automation systems (e.g. for Mobile, Web Browsers and Backend API).
• Strong bias for action with proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in overseeing software development and testing lifecycle (SDLC, STLC).
• Experience in managing development project involving multiple programming language, script or framework (e.g. Java, Bash, Python, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, REST Assured, Swagger).
• Experience in managing development project involving continuous integration pipeline (e.g. Github Actions, ArgoCD, ReportPortal, Jenkins).
• Knowledge in test automation related cloud infrastructure (e.g. BrowserStack, FireBase TestLab or Amazon Device Farm)
• Experience in managing a scalable and reliable software test automation system.
• Experience in leading test automation related project from concept to finish.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing, supporting and growing a team of software quality assurance engineers.
• Proven team management and interpersonal skills with a track record of effectively achieving results and driving projects to completion."
