Role Purpose:
Execute the development of automation test scripts and execution of tests cases, collaborate with team members using quality engineering technologies and methodologies to ensure delivery of high quality product.
In This Role You Will:
- Develop and collaborate with QA team on creating and maintaining test automation based on test case scenarios, increasing coverage and reducing manual testing to improve product quality.
- Identify software defect from test automation execution logs and report the issue to the engineering team for timely resolution and improve product quality.
- Participate in code review by evaluating adherence to coding standards to ensure the development of reliable and high-quality test automation scripts.
- Configure continuous integration pipeline to provide proper automation coverage to ensure high quality product releases.
- Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
- Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
- 4+ years of experience in developing software test automation (e.g. for Mobile, Web Browsers or Backend API).
- Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycle (SDLC, STLC).
- Proficient in at least one programming language, script or framework (e.g. Java, Bash, Python, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, REST Assured, Swagger).
- Basic understanding of continuous integration pipeline (e.g. Github Actions, ArgoCD, ReportPortal, Jenkins).
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
