Job Responsibility
- Plan, directs and evaluate the F&B products and services, daily operations and workflow in the kitchen
- Assisting in all areas of the kitchen
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Inform wait staff about daily specials
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- To maintain food quality and improve process of existing services
- To plan and supervise kitchen operation in order to achieve business target
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
- Proven experiences as a Chef or Cook, restaurant and cafe kitchen operation experience is preferred.
- Able to work at Melaka
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations
- Excellent time management abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various task
