We are now looking for a UXUI Manager who share in our purpose to drive the navigation and aesthetic design of our proprietary learning platform, ZilLearn.
Working under the supervision of the Head of Product Management, and collaborating with a team comprising Product managers, business development and solutions consultants, UXUI designers and software engineers, you are responsible for innovating and improving ZilLearn’s UI/UX to make the platform navigation of ZilLearn a frictionless and delightful experience.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Lead and manage the UXUI team, ensuring high-quality output.
- Develop and implement UXUI strategies and best practices.
- Ensure consistency in design and user experience across all platforms.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver the product features
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Analyze user feedback and data to inform design decisions.
- Advocate for user-centric design within the organization.
- Mentor and support the professional growth of team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and tools as needed.
- Present UXUI concepts and findings to stakeholders and senior management where appropriate
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 7 years of experience in UXUI design.
- Portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrates experience crafting digital interfaces, and designing consumer-focused, desktop and app/mobile products.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process.
- Extensive experience in UX design and research.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting user data.
- Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detailed, organised and display professionalism under pressure.
- Team player and able to work in cross functional and matrix teams.
- Knowledge of front-end development and design systems.
- Up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Postgraduate/Tertiary qualification in Design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
