  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

KUALA LUMPUR OPPORTUNITY - Head of Dealing (Securities Trading)

Salient's key client is looking for its next Head for the Dealing Team.

This is an immense leadership opportunity for someone who has strong experience in Trading/Dealing in securities & derivatives, and has a strong desire to mentor & lead a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Malaysia dealing team (3-4 headcount)
  • Oversee all aspects of dealing operations, including trade execution, margin control, and risk management.
  • Lead the team in day to day EOD processing - reconciliation, settlement, etc.
  • Monitor clients' accounts in compliance with BURSA, SC guidelines & regulations.
  • Work with Marketing team to participate in industry investment events, providing expertise in financial markets & investment ideas.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing deal team.

Must Haves:

  • Proven track record of success in leading a dealing or trading team in securities and/or derivatives.
  • Registered licenses under SC/BURSA. CMSRL license for dealing in securities and derivatives highly advantageous
  • Ability to communicate (written & spoken) in Chinese & English.
  • Willingness to work shift hours and/or holidays as per business requirements.
