Content Writer, BM

We are on the lookout for someone who is proficient in Bahasa Malaysia. You must be quick on your feet and able to write in different tones of voice. You have a good understanding of local slang and can use that to craft relatable content for the Malay audience. We want your stellar concepts to empower the agency to produce award-winning Malay-centric campaigns that will win us awards.

What is this job all about?

• Campaign ideation and conceptualisation.
• Demonstrate understanding of how words and pictures work together in different mediums
• Demonstrate delivery of innovative, on strategy, client-approved creative outputs
• Experience in developing and delivering effective, persuasive, professional presentations to internal and external senior stakeholders
• Highly articulate and skilled in the use of language, with a solid grounding in the Bahasa Malaysia (especially) and English languages (including accuracy or spelling, grammar, and proofreading), plus the grasp of the nuances and subtleties of the Bahasa Malaysia language.

What are the requirements to apply?

• Brains and common sense.
• A Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Experience writing for digital advertising platforms (Facebook & Instagram, Google – Search, Display & YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Creative sense and the ability to develop campaign concepts that sell.
• A passion for video executions and the ability to create content that either excites, entertains, informs, or convinces but more importantly converts.
• A basic understanding of different audience segments and are able to produce creative work that is relatable.
• A minimum of 2 or 3 years experience in advertising and/or digital media.

We also need you to have :

• A Bachelor's Degree in Journalism / Marketing / Advertising / Mass Communications or similar qualification.
• Excellent presentation skills to sell your ideas
• The ability to deliver copy quickly and accurately, ensuring all revenue and budget considerations are maximized
• Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to cope with stress.
