Junior Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

Data Entry:

• Accurately enter, verify, and update various types of data into systems and databases.
• Perform data cleansing and ensure data integrity across all platforms.

Data Scraping:

• Collect data from websites and digital platforms using data scraping tools and techniques.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of data extracted from various online sources.

Implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA):

• Assist in identifying processes that can be automated using RPA tools.
• Participate in the implementation of automation solutions to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

Running Data Analysis on Excel:

• Perform data analysis using Excel, including the use of functions, formulas, and pivot tables.
• Validate data accuracy and liaise with relevant parties to rectify data quality.
• Analyze datasets to provide insights and assist in decision-making processes.
• Generate reports and present findings to management and relevant stakeholders.

Develop procedures for reporting, extract, collate and populate data to reporting template.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous internship or experience in logistics, data analysis, data entry, or research is a plus but not mandatory. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Basic understanding of data scraping, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English & Chinese is required.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables).
• Familiarity with data scraping and research tools.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Good dedication at work, good demeanor, willing to learn.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.
