Our client’s project is a well-established brand in the Information Technology industry who is now looking for a passionate and driven Functional Tester Position, then this is an exciting opportunity to expand your skill set, achieve job satisfaction and work-life balance.

Job Type: 5 Months Contract (if project required its extendable)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diploma with Computer/IT related major

• Manual Testing, Test Management, Agile Process, Banking (especially Internet Banking), Technical Testing knowledge.

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture tests.

• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures.

• Execute test scripts.

• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans.

• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.

• Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.

• Validate product fixes.

• Inform the test lead/test manager of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.

• Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements

• Strong attention to details - able to document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts as well as defects tracking documents (i.e., steps to recreate the problem)

• Understanding of testing concepts and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle

• Strong knowledge in Online Banking

• Able to handle assignment independently with minimum supervision

• Technical knowledge in banking applications

• Must be familiar with Agile testing and DevOps methodologies.
