As a dynamic Talent Acquisition (Senior) Specialist in APAC, you will take charge of overseeing the entire recruitment cycle for Malaysia, with occasional involvement in other Southeast & North Asia regions. The ideal candidate will have experience in hiring across all levels of the organization, from entry-level positions to executive leadership roles. In this role you will report to the Talent Acquisition Lead.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to fulfill the organization's staffing needs.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand talent requirements and provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct recruitment activities across all levels, including executive-level positions, mid-level management, and entry-level roles.
- Managing manpower outsourcing vendors and overseeing new project mass recruitment activities.
- Strengthening partnerships with local higher educational institutions and polytechnics.
- Attending campus recruitment events and organizing relevant STEM-related workshops or events to provide engineering opportunities across Peninsula Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak.
- Driving employer branding initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition, continuously enhancing recruitment processes and strategies.
- Acting as a brand ambassador for MKS Instruments, promoting our culture and values to potential candidates.
Skills You Bring: (Required Skills)
- Tertiary education in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of international recruiting experience, with a focus on hiring across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in campus recruitment preferred.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous.
- Agency recruitment or RPO experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of employer branding principles and strategies as well as passion to discover and implement alternative/new ways to attract talent through the use of technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proven track record of success in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and growth.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive recruiting landscape and work effectively under pressure.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
