Job Purpose:
The Enterprise Business Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining business
architecture that supports Maybank's strategic objectives. This role involves leading
conversations and initiatives with business stakeholders to align IT solutions with business
needs, driving business process improvements, and ensuring the adaptability of business
models in response to changing market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Architecture Development: - Develop and maintain the current and target state business architectures. - Identify opportunities to align IT and business strategies, enhancing business efficiency
and competitiveness.
2. Leadership in Business Capabilities: - Lead discussions with business stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs. - Drive initiatives that translate business requirements into architectural designs that
support business transformation.
3. Governance and Standards Compliance: - Ensure that business architecture and initiatives comply with all regulatory standards
and align with enterprise-wide architectural standards. - Govern the implementation of business architecture standards across projects and
initiatives.
4. Innovation and Research: - Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in global banking. - Produce insightful research on future trends and potential business impacts.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: - Build and maintain strong relationships with key business and IT stakeholders. - Effectively communicate architectural plans and strategies across the organization.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree
preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business architecture within a financial services
environment.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale business architecture projects that align with
IT initiatives.
