We are currently seeking a passionate to join our team as a Frontend Developer (React/Next.js).
Job Summary:
Currently, we are extending the capabilities of Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore business and looking for a passionate individual that thrives in a face-paced and continuously changing environment. We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused and result-driven Frontend Developer to support the business growth. By working as a Frontend Developer in Hero Plus, you will work on established applications as well as start projects from scratch - in both cases you’ll have a lot of autonomy and the chance to make a big impact. You should be happy taking the initiative and, at times, working independently and you should have a strong UX design skills, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills, strong analytical background . We operate in an open feedback culture where new ideas and new ways of working are always welcomed and you will be an integral part of our fast-growing business development and contribute to the transformation of the product and customer experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform software engineering projects in the field of web developments and mobile app developments to develop and enhance Hero Plus products
Design and build front-end web applications using Next.js, React & React Native
Assess severity of problems, determine corrective action, and implement solutions for software defects or operational issues
Participate in and gain familiarity with code reviews, software development, and engineering processes.
Define and execute software test methods and procedures, including unit tests for assigned software capabilities
Recommend value added changes to existing coding practices, standards and tools
Show commitment to company values, ethics, safety, security, labor charging and quality
Experience/Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in frontend development
Experienced with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
Deep experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js
Ability to rapidly prototype and adjust in response to customer feedback
Solid coding practices including peer code reviews, unit testing, and a preference for agile development.
Advanced coding skills (concurrency, profiling and performance optimisation)
Experience with contributing to and maintaining production software
Experience of working with Git and Git Flow
Experience of working on an Agile software development team

Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or above equivalent in Computer Science
