Your Role As a Talent Specialist

Appspace is seeking an experienced Talent Specialist to help identify, attract, and hire top talent. The Talent Specialist will also help develop, implement, and maintain learning programs for Appspace team members. This is a great opportunity to work with all lines of the business, evolve the overall talent experience, and provide education and training to our individual contributors, team leads, managers and senior leadership team members.

A Day In The Life Of a Talent Specialist

  • 3+ years of technology recruiting experience with in-house recruiting team, search firm, or agency
  • Engage qualified candidates for a variety of niche and highly technical roles using multiple sourcing techniques
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple positions
  • Experience screening resumes, profiles, and candidates to match qualifications
  • Partner with key stakeholders (Department Heads & Hiring Managers) to determine current and future talent needs and drive sourcing strategies
  • Manage candidate experience through sourcing, screening, interview, offer and onboarding
  • Utilize sourcing tools such as LinkedIn as well as your existing network and market knowledge to maintain a consistent candidate flow for current and future openings
  • Be a diversity & inclusion advocate
  • Review’s background/reference check reports
  • Participate in recruitment marketing programmes i.e. career talks, job fairs, social posting
  • Execute the full process of our team member onboarding and orientation experience
  • Develops, implements, and maintains team member training:
    • Topics include
      • Leadership Development
      • Technical Training
      • Appspace Product Knowledge
      • Diversity and Inclusion (in partnership with our Internal D&I Committee)
      • Team Member Wellness
  • Develops, writes, updates and maintains training assets and materials including Training Presentations (classroom training), User & Reference Guides, Job Aids, Learning Labs, eLearning Materials (web and video), Quizzes, and Training + Education Communications and Newsletter, Articles
  • Collaborates with various departments throughout the organization to determine training requirements, objectives, strategies, plans, delivery methods, and logistics
  • Delivers onsite and remote (web/virtual-classroom based) training to Appspace team members
What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years experience working in a high volume recruiting setting
  • Skilled at partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations
  • Experience working with recruiting tools/systems, including resume databases, sourcing tools, pre hire assessments and interview techniques
  • Organized and pragmatic; thrives in a results-oriented environment
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • SW/SaaS/Tech and Namely/Greenhouse experience preferred
