  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java AWS Backend Application Developer to join our team on a contract basis for 4 months, with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Java backend development, including hands-on experience with AWS services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using modern technologies and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java (Java 8 or above) and Spring Boot.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2 (including auto-scaling), Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudWatch (including CloudWatch Events).
  • Work with Serverless architectures and implement efficient serverless solutions.
  • Develop and manage databases, particularly with MongoDB.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of the applications.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend services using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong expertise in Java (Java 8 or above) and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Familiarity with Serverless architecture.
  • Experience working with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native design patterns and microservices architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS certification(s) would be a plus.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
