Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the annual corporate tax submission and all tax matters of the Company & its subsidiaries and unit trust, including transfer pricing, statutory payment and reporting to IRB and Customs.
  • Managing the tax audits (corporate & indirect taxes) by IRB & Custom from various angle.
  • Managing the transfer pricing documentation to IRB of AHAM and subsidiaries.
  • Timely response on any newest or current tax development to analyses tax impact/benefit to Group.
  • Managing the annual internal audit of the Company and its subsidiaries.
  • Managing and coordinate with other departments the audit review from regulatory i.e SC, FIMM etc.
  • Managing and coordinating with other business units on due diligence tasks, economic survey etc.
  • Review to ensure timely submission reporting to SC or to other department relates to SC reporting.
  • Monitoring and review current process in Statutory Reporting and Tax’s unit.
  • To coordinate in the project related to tax and statutory reporting (i.e.re-implementation of GST or changes in tax required an enhancement)
  • Any other assigned tasks and ad hoc projects by the Management.

Job Requirements:

  • At least Degree in Accounting/ Finance, or individuals with the significant and relevant work experience will be considered.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience preferably in Unit Trust Company and in financial services company.
  • Working experience of Sunsystem will be an added advantage.
  • Self-driven, results oriented and possess strong analytical skills
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels in English both spoken and written.
  • Able to work independently and long working hours to meet tight deadlines.
