  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adequate supply for uninterrupted production;
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials;
  • Manage the disposal of waste and defective products in accordance with company policies;
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment;
  • Conduct regular safety audits and take corrective actions as needed;
  • Promote a strong safety culture among the production team;
  • Lead, mentor and motivate production staff to achieve individual and team goals;
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for team members;
  • Identify training needs and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge;
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control processes.
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
