Job Overview

Assist the Project Manager in analyzing the Pavement Condition Assessment (PCA) data for input in dTIMS software, to provide insights and recommendations based on life cycle cost analyses with optimum cost outcome budget and network performance. Responsible for providing annual pavement performance analysis using dTIMS software to develop a Long-Term Rolling Programme (LTRP) with a maintenance strategy to achieve required performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake project assignments and carry to fruition the development of long-term maintenance strategy.
  • Provide insight and advice to the maintenance management team on effectively implementing the work program and long-term maintenance strategies.
  • Develop computerized deterioration models in dTIMS for the purpose of investigating the achievement of asset performance objectives under various loading and budget scenarios.
  • Compute the whole-of-life maintenance and road user costs of maintaining assets for long-term financial planning and fund sourcing.
  • Optimize the maintenance strategy to achieve the best benefit/ cost.
  • Keep up with the latest technology and knowledge in asset modelling and apply relevant technology to existing issues and challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the asset management sector.
  • Intermediate knowledge of dTIMS software for pavement deterioration models.
  • Knowledge in pavement analysis and design.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
