- Prepare, review, and organize all required documentation for tender submissions. This includes technical specifications, drawings, pricing, and any other relevant information.
- Stay updated on industry trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to ensure the company's bids are competitive and compliant with project specifications.
- Keep track of all open and upcoming tenders, including deadlines, requirements, and submission dates.
- Work closely with the sales and technical teams to gather the necessary information for tender submissions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of tender documents.
- Ensure that all tender submissions are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist in estimating project costs and pricing strategies, in collaboration with the sales and financial teams.
- Prepare and submit tender documents within specified deadlines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Attend site valuation, site measurement, and regular meetings when necessary.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
- Keep a record of all tenders, submissions, and outcomes in a well-organized database for future reference and analysis.
- Participate in post-tender debriefs and analysis to identify areas for improvement and enhance the company's competitiveness in future bids.
- Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in a related field, preferably with experience working with a main contractor.
- Meticulous and having a keen eye for details and accuracy.
- Good working attitude, able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Organized and able to prioritize and manage time well.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be familiar with estimates, project cost control, preparation of Bill of Quantities and Project Claims.
- Preferably to be computer literate and familiar with MS Office and MS Excel applications.
