The Purchasing Executive / Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the hotel, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Management: Manage the purchasing process for goods and services, including food and beverage, guest supplies, and equipment.
- Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
- Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities, manage budgets, and ensure procurement practices align with financial goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products and services meet the hotel's quality standards and specifications.
- Order Processing: Place and track orders, handle purchase requisitions, and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyse procurement reports, track expenditures, and provide insights to the management.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office application (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
