Summary of the Job Responsibilities:

The Quality Manager is responsible for the coordination of the quality control program to ensure parts meet the established standards for the company and customer. They will oversee, train and mentor the quality inspectors and a quality engineer. This employee will also be responsible for coordinating and maintaining ISO standards and the ISO program. This is definitely a “hands-on” type of position with most time spent on the production floor overseeing that quality standards are being upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and customer requirements.

2. Organize and conduct quality programme and training periodically with follow thru to develop all employees to achieve TQM in the organization.

3. Responsible for overall and engineering quality operation.

4. Manage, review and implement on ISO9001 and ISO14001 Quality Management System.

5. Ensure the quality requirement and specification are adequately defined and met in production.

6. Optimizing the inspection process for smooth operation with sufficient resource to achieve quality objective.

7. Initiate corrective action where appropriate and prevent recurrence.

8. Liaise with customer on issue relate to quality and to represent the company.

9. Establish and maintain procedure for ISO9001 and ISO14001 document control.

10. Carry out supplier quality assurance programme to enhance supplier performance.

11. Lead and responsible for the bottom line.

12. Able to develop work schedule and monitoring project.

13. Able to formulate, look ahead and recovery schedule.

14. Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.

15. Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.

16. Compile and lead Yield Report review with customer.

17. Compile quality report, analyze data and provide suggestion on quality improvement plan.

18. To establish and maintain quality documents such as SOP, WI, SIP, Control Plan and etc.

19. Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager/Superior.

20. KPIs

21. Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformances, defects, and other quality-related issues.

22. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

23. Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and make adjustments as necessary.

24. Utilize quality tools such as root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

25. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on quality-related matters, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

26. Work with the sales and customer service teams to understand customer requirements and ensure they are met or exceeded. (Contract Review)

27. Lead internal and external audits, preparing for and responding to findings, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

28. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve the overall quality of incoming materials.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Knowledge in ISO9001 and ISO14001 Quality Management System

• Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Exposure to/knowledge of working in a multi-cultural office environment.
