Summary of the Job Responsibilities:

The Supervisor Production is responsible for directing all activities within the assigned area of the production departments. Ensures the on-time production of quality products while handling the daily supervision of the departmental personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.

2. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.

3. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.

4. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.

5. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.

6. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.

7. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.

8. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.

9. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.

10. Troubleshoot electrical and control problems.

11. Perform predictive maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools duties that detect early signs of failure or mis-adjustment, complete projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware upgrades.

12. Ensure that the entire maintenance area of responsibility proactively supports all plant goals including safety measures.

13. Ensure all equipment and tools for which responsible are maintained in the proper operating condition to meet established plant needs, established safety, sanitation, and , standards.

14. Supporting the Production Team on a day to day basis based on the assigned task allocated.

15. Generally ensuring the safety of the Manufacturing facility at all times.

16. Liaison with authorities on licences and permits based on requirements inclusive of all renewals.

17. To manage the yearly inspection(s) by authorities.

18. Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager/Superior.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Relevant certifications in maintenance management such as a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) are highly advantageous.

• Strong knowledge in machinery/ equipment preventive maintenance.

• Ability to provide expertise, advice, and guidance around the operation and enhancements of FUME (Facility, Utility, Maintenance, and Equipment) assets and systems.

• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.

• Ability to keep track of and report on activity.

• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc.

• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and ISO 45001 system.

• Strong skills in leadership, decision making and problem solving.

• Result oriented, proactive and able to work under pressure.

• Responsible and positive working attitudes.

• Exposure to/knowledge of working in a multi-cultural office environment.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
