Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Accountant to manage the financial operations of a significant skill development program. Responsibilities include overseeing project accounting, maintaining accurate bookkeeping, and supporting commercial finance efforts to ensure precise financial reporting and effective budget management. The role also involves collaborating with various teams to provide financial insights, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and optimising processes for seamless financial oversight across the initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates expertise in statutory and US GAAP financial accounting and reporting, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial statements
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your strong analytical skills and numerical reasoning will drive informed financial decisions

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a relevant professional qualification is preferred
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with project accounting experience in the training or learning industry being a plus
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, particularly in the training and development sector
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, or Xero, with strong Excel skills
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines, with excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Possesses a meticulous, problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage fragmented tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
