  • Conduct classes according to the Cambridge curriculum and create a positive learning environment.
  • Motivate students with enthusiastic and creative class activities.
  • Ensure continuous progress and development of students.
  • Prepare teaching materials and resources in accordance to the syllabus.
  • Prepare and mark quizzes and examination papers.
  • Meet requirements for the assessments. Report student’s progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.
  • Evaluate students' courseworks, assignments, projects and presentations.
  • Responsible in classroom management and monitor student's discipline.
  • Organise and participate in all school events eg. co-curricular activities, sports day, fieldtrips, concert night and etc.
  • Work collaboratively with all faculty members to plan and coordinate assigned tasks.
  • Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc tasks and other duties when required.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with various assessment tools, instructional strategies, and assistive technologies used in special education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the well-being and growth of all students.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the unique needs and challenges of each student.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
