Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Engineer (Internal) at Delta Mobrey Ltd in WP, Kuala Lumpur. He/She will be part of Global Sales Team, reporting to the Area Sales Manager. The Sales team is responsible for three main areas which are Malaysia, South East Asia and North East Asia.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Support sales efforts by addressing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and maintaining communication with customers.
  • Develop technical and commercial solutions tailored to customer specifications.
  • Negotiate technical and commercial contracts with customers, including addressing bid queries and providing technical and commercial clarifications.
  • Administer sales administration tasks for example preparing cost margin, handling contract review, final documentations, raising credit notes and other sales-related paperwork.
  • Manage and oversee the conversion of orders.
  • Responsible for aftersales service and addressing issues, including service and repair maintenance.
  • Facilitating communication between internal operations departments and customers.
  • Identify potential new customers, new projects and/or new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, but other disciplines are welcome to apply.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze technical information and convey it to customers effectively.
  • Proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with process instrumentation is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Could Have

  • Experience in handling technical sales.
  • Familiarity with commercial terms and Incoterms 2020.
  • Proficiency in managing RFQs, preparing quotations, and converting orders.
  • Skilled in preparing final documentation.

Training will be provided on MTMS, Delta Mobrey's product range and key features, as well as sales best practices and guidelines.
