We are seeking a skilled Tester with expertise in Real-time Retail Payments Platforms (RPP) within the banking sector. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for real-time payment processing applications, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of RPP systems to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and gain a thorough understanding of payment workflows and system integrations.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools; work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
  • Analyze testing results, create detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders, offering actionable insights for improvements.
  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation strategies for payment system vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
  • Ensure that all testing activities align with security protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Stay informed about industry trends in banking and payment technologies, incorporating best practices into testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on payment systems in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of real-time payment processing and relevant banking regulations.
  • Proficient in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman).
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation testing and performance testing tools.
  • Knowledge of API testing and integration testing within payment platforms.
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and best practices in banking.
