They are looking for a Logistics Customer Service/ Operations staff to join their team in Malaysia, which is supporting the Asia-Pacific region. As a part of a multi-cultural team you achieve exceptional service in cooperation with global forwarders and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring day to-day shipments for appointed international customers, act as single point of contact and handle all mode of transports.

They are looking for a Logistics Customer Service/ Operations staff to join their team in Malaysia, which is supporting the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring day to-day shipments for appointed international customers, act as single point of contact and handle all mode of transports.
Responsibilities
- To book shipments in various modes of transports, primarily sea and air
- Monitoring of shipments and maintaining status and visibility of shipments
- Correct and timely handling and review of all transport relevant documents
- Serve as first point of contact for our customers
- Liaise with our appointed service partners
- Attend to and solve incident and complain issues timely and efficiently
- Fast replies to enquiries and requests
- Be a role model for entire CS/Operations team and valued team member
- Support reviews of standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Co-operate with other departments locally and within the Wurth network.
- To support on any other related tasks assigned from time to time
- 3 years of professional experience in international transport logistics
- Proven track record of handling and organizing shipments in one or more of the following mode of transports: Sea, Air, Truck, Rail or/and Express
- Solid understanding of shipping terms, documentation and terminology
- SPM/Diploma in Transport/Logistics or Business Administration, International Business
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English, further languages like Mandarin very welcome
- Well-organized with IT-based day-to-day operations
- Proficiency in common applications e.g. Microsoft Office, SAP experience is a plus
- Willing to take ownership and responsibilities as problem solver
