Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and overseeing both online and offline marketing initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a flair for creativity and a proven track record in managing social media platforms and digital campaigns. Experience in a news/media agency and a strong portfolio of work will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and execute compelling content strategies across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. Create engaging posts, graphics, videos, and other media that align with the company’s brand and objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and manage social media and digital marketing campaigns. Monitor performance metrics, analyze results, and adjust strategies to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate with a team of content creators, designers, and other marketing professionals to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of content and campaigns.
  • Online & Offline Marketing: Oversee online marketing strategies and collaborate on offline marketing efforts to ensure a cohesive brand presence across all channels.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media and campaign performance. Use data to drive decisions and improve engagement, reach, and ROI.
  • Audience Engagement: Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage community interactions to foster a positive brand image.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement social media strategies that align with company goals and drive growth. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to keep the company’s social media presence innovative and competitive.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the PR, marketing, and design teams to ensure alignment in messaging and branding across all platforms.
  • Content Calendar Management: Plan and manage our content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting. Coordinate with various departments to align content with key events and promotions.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field. Experience in a news/media agency is a plus.

Skills: Proven ability to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and execute successful digital campaigns. Strong leadership and team management skills.

Portfolio: A portfolio of previous work, including examples of social media content, campaigns, and other relevant marketing materials.

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. Working experience is an added advantage.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media management tools, content creation tools, analytics platforms, and digital marketing software. Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies.

Personal Traits: Creative, strategic thinker with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
