What would you do?

  • Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify anomalies, suspicious activities, and patterns indicative of fraud or financial crime.
  • Conduct detailed investigations/analysis into flagged transactions, including reviewing transaction histories, customer profiles, and relevant documentation.
  • Meet service level agreements (SLAs) for transaction review and analysis turnaround times.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as compliance, operations, customer service to address and resolve potential issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports of findings, including recommendations for further action or escalation.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to transaction monitoring and risk management.
  • Continuously review and update transaction monitoring systems and procedures to enhance detection capabilities and efficiency.
  • Provide support and training to junior staff on transaction monitoring best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Be ready to undertake ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by superiors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging threats to adjust monitoring practices accordingly.

Who should join us?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CFE) are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with transaction monitoring systems and data analysis tools like Microsoft office, Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
