About Role

This role involves spearheading efforts to penetrate the Malaysia market from the ground up. Responsibilities include developing business plans aligned with the sales strategy for the Solar PV Inverter Business Unit, establishing sales channels, and achieving set sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement business development plans based on the sales strategy for the Solar PV Inverter Business Unit, establish sales channels, and meet sales goals.
  • Build and manage key accounts within the country, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of client needs, market trends, product developments, and competitor activity within the region.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the company’s brand and products alongside local distribution agencies.
  • Handle additional tasks as assigned by Business Unit leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Fluent in both local language and English communication.
  • Solid understanding of Solar PV systems and PV inverters.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business development within the Solar PV industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer service mindset, effective both internally and externally.
  • Highly responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, hardworking, and a strong team player.
