We are looking for a qualified Application Support Consultant (Service Desk) to join our team. If you have the following, we are looking forward for you to explore this opportunity
What should you have?
- Ability to manage, monitor and control the responsible modules’ support tickets (inclusive of own responsible and other support consultants’ ticket fall under the responsible modules).
- Experienced to monitor software and IT infrastructure in Microsoft Azure platform, and to report any discrepancy found to 1st level support consultant to follow up.
- Strong sense of monitoring incident aging
- Strong 1st level and/or 2nd level application support experience to BASS customers as per SLA
- Ability to manage patch kit release including documentation for the installation guide, checklist and roll out remote support and coordination
- Strong support skill to provides BASS software remote installation
- Ability to manage and coordinate the process of BASSnet server maintenance and OS patching
What do you need to qualify?
- Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Post graduate Diploma in Computer Science /Information Technology or equivalent.
- Basic server management and network troubleshooting experience.
- Good experience with installing and configuring MS SQL Server and database SQL knowledge
- Strong customers focus with at least 2 - 3 years’ experience in customer service and support field particularly in plant maintenance system, procurement or financial system will be added advantage
- Knowledge in ERP in the maritime industry or have been involved in IT Support for maritime industry or maritime system roll out would be an advantage
- Willingness to be on standby 24 X 7 basis
- Able to work on rotational in 2 shifts
- Fluent in written and spoken English
