Desktop Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for Windows desktop systems, including hardware and software
  • troubleshooting.
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new workstations and ensure proper functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve support processes.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge base and training purposes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to end-users, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Participate in shift rotations as required to provide 24/7 support coverage.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11).
  • Strong understanding of desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote desktop tools.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to RM4,500.00 per month
